Artist Statement

I throw simple stoneware pieces meant to blend into daily life. Quiet shapes, muted glazes, nothing that asks for attention. The goal is something that just fits.

I work through repetition. Each session is its own rhythm, and after a while, my hands start to figure out what the clay wants to do. That's the part I keep coming back to, that back-and-forth between intention and what actually happens.

I want the work to be useful in an undemanding way. Something you reach for in the morning without thinking about it, or that just sits on your windowsill and feels right. Not precious, just present.
